Why sandblast?

Sandblasting is the best way to remove rust and old paint off a smooth or convoluted metallic surface in preparation for re-chroming or repainting.

It's also great for many creative applications, such as sandblasting wooden signs, or preparing the rims on your project hot-rod.

What does it cost?

The cost for renting the DIY Sandblasting Booth is $50.00/hour. There is a minimum one hour charge.

You also pay for the abrasive that you use, which is generally 5-6 bags/hour.

Please note: the number of bags used per hour in the Sandblasting Booth can vary greatly from job to job. 5-6 bags per hour is a very general estimate.

Booth Availability

Our sandblast booth is available for use anytime during our business hours. Your rental includes an air helmet and gloves. We suggest you bring in your own coveralls, as the bay gets very dusty while sandblasting. Bringing a bottle of water isn't a bad idea either.

Booth Dimensions

The size of opening into the bay is 12' wide and 8'-6: high; this is the upper limit for the size of object that can be sandblasted (the booth is 21' deep).
