Bin # 09
A coarse, general purpose sand. Great for bedding water pipe or irrigation lines in trenches, turning into sand bags, and laying underneath paving stones.
Because it’s coarse, Bedding Sand will not compact, and is not suitable for sandboxes – try the Masonry Sand instead.

Bring in your pick-up truck or trailer: we have a skid-steer loader and trained operators on site every hour that we’re open.
(Note: we cannot load your truck if you have a canopy or tonneau cover installed – sorry!)
Don’t need much? You can bring your buckets and garbage cans too – we stack shovels by the front door.
We provide a fast delivery service for all of our products – we can usually deliver on the same day the order is placed.
Our three dump trucks have different capacities so we can handle any amount of material. Our smallest truck carries up to 3 yards, the next truck holds up to 6 yards, and our tandem-axle truck carries around 12 yards (or nearly double that with the pup).
Please refer to our delivery page for pricing and complete details.
There’s no minimum order on bulk materials when you pick-up or book a delivery – buy only as much as you need.
Feel free to bring in any container you like to haul our materials away in – if you can shovel into it, it’s fair game!
If you’re picking up sand or gravel from our yard, you might find that your truck can’t take as much material as you need (it’s heavy!).
For example, if you need a yard, but can only carry a half-yard at a time, just take two trips – we’ll mark your receipt so you can come back at your convenience for the other half.
First, measure the length and width of the area that you would like to cover (in feet).
Second, decide how deep you would like the coverage (in feet or inches).
Finally, use our yard calculator – just enter your numbers and let the computer do the work!
Read the Sharecost Gravel School article for detailed info on how to choose the correct bulk products for your project.
Most of our bulk materials have a large volume price, either offered per tonne or as a percentage discount.
This price is offered when you order large amounts of material (12-24 tonnes or 10+ yards) and have it delivered in our tandem-axle dump truck.
You can find all of the details here.
